🏳️⚧️Pride🏳️🌈 25th July 2025

Join us for one of Nottingham’s biggest and bussiest events of the year!
We’ll be singing in the heart of Hockley (full details, directions will be sent to you)
We have limited space available
Last time we were at Pride we were there for around 3 hours, so this year we’re likely to split the singing into blocks of roughly an hour so everyone gets a chance to perform without us overcrowding the space.
We’re expecting to start around 12pm, so it may look something like:
🎤 Group 1: 12pm–1:30pm
🎤 Group 2: around 1:45–3pm
We’ll confirm the exact timings and how this all works once the numbers are in, but I just wanted everyone to be aware that it may be a bit of a “come and go” style performance rather than everyone singing continuously for the full afternoon.

Important Bits:
The small fee helps us cover admin, logistics, insurance, and all the behind-the-scenes clipboard chaos
You must be a current active member of Fun Chorus to perform with us.
You must wear your official Fun Chorus T-shirt or hoodie for insurance purposes.
It helps event organisers, staff, and fellow members easily identify who's in the group. This is especially important for the busy venues or outdoor events for visibility and safety, plus it keeps us looking fabulous and official.
If your name's not down, you won't be allowed in. No sneaky walk-ins, sorry!
You'll get a receipt when you check out, hang on to it, just in case we need to cross-check.
Events will be closed so final numbers can be submitted to the venue (usually a week before). We often can't make last-minute changes, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
How It Works
Complete payment and you're in!
We'll email full details to you in the week before the event.
We'll have your name on the event list and will check you off as you arrive. All you need to do is turn up, ready to sing your heart out!

Fun Chorus Events Policy
At Fun Chorus, we love performing in our communities and creating joyful musical experiences together. To ensure all events are safe, enjoyable, and run smoothly, please read and adhere to the following policy when deciding whether to participate in a Fun Chorus event.
1. Personal Responsibility and Attendance
Attendance at any Fun Chorus event is entirely voluntary, and we ask all members to use their own judgement when deciding whether it is safe and suitable for them to take part.
Please consider your personal health, mobility, weather conditions, accessibility needs, and any other factors that may affect your safety and comfort at a specific event.
By attending an event, you acknowledge that you are personally responsible for your participation and any associated risks.
2. Health and Safety Requirements
All members must wear their official Fun Chorus T-shirt during performances. This is mandatory for: Easy identification of group members Group cohesion and presentation Health and safety compliance Insurance coverage in the event of an incident
Members not wearing the correct attire may be unable to perform.
3. Sign-In and On-Site Conduct
On arrival at any event, please sign in with a designated Fun Chorus leader so we can account for all participants.
Members are expected to behave in a way that is respectful, safe, and aligned with the inclusive spirit of Fun Chorus.
Please follow any on-site guidance or instructions given by leaders or event organisers.
4. Medical and Emergency Information
Fun Chorus leaders are not responsible for providing medical assistance.
If you have any medical needs or emergency protocols, please ensure these are planned in advance and shared with someone you trust.
5. Photography and Publicity
Photos or video may be taken during events and used for promotional purposes on Fun Chorus platforms. Please let us know in advance if you do not consent to being photographed.
6. Adverse Weather and Cancellations
Some events may take place outdoors and could be affected by poor weather.
If an event is cancelled or changed, we will notify members as early as possible via email, text, or social media.
7. Insurance and Liability
Fun Chorus holds public liability insurance for organised events, but this does not cover individual member choices or medical issues.
By attending an event, you agree that you are doing so at your own risk, and Fun Chorus and its organisers cannot accept responsibility for injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation.
